THE TALE OF ERX
(an epic)

During long winter nights, the tribe storyteller entertains the community with the recitation of an ancient epic tale. Most of the tale has been lost or was never known, making these fragments all the more precious, and the tale is frequently recounted in song, in order to preserve it for future generations.
