THE CALLING OF THE NAMES

No one in the tribe is really sure what this song means, their best guess being that it is a sequence of magic numbers sacred to the gods. Not willing to take any chances, they ritually recite the magic numbers and the names of these powerful deities in hopes of keeping them appeased: Palmdale, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Piru, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Fillmore, Ventura, Lake Hughes, and the hermaphrodite god, Lancaster/Palmdale.
